Mrs. Eadie. who was born in Huddersfield, landed in Queen-land m 1808, and spent two advonjurou' year; with her hit-band i.i wild con itry inhabited bv aborigines. Later she went to Dunedin.
She has six surviving children whose ages aggregit' 429 years.
