War-time Nerves
Some of Britain's most brilliant specialists in nervous \ diseases are co-operating with the British Government in devising means to deal.witn the emotional and mental straws c war time on civilians and the armed forces. A sub-committee, appointed at n recent meeting of specialists, met in an effort to formulate practical conclusions. Lord Border was m the chair and Sir Hilbert Bond, Sir L. Farqnbar Buzzard, Dr. Bernard Halt, Dr. Gordon Holmes. Dr. J. H. Macdonald, Dr. E. Mapothcr. Dr H. Crichton-Millcr and Dr. W. AJdren Turner were present. R‘ was explained that experience and scientific research in post-war years had aclclco immensely io medical knowledge of nervous and cognate disorders, and Sir Walter felt that this knowledge might be so collated as to be of scivicc to medical men in war-time.
