£250 GATE AT ST. HELEN’S (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 8, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 6. The New Zealand Rugby League team’s share of the “gate” at St Helens was £250. The league council's tour committee discussed the financial question with the manager of the tourists, and, it is understood, made a suggestion acceptable to the latter. Shipping companies are not yet able to provide passages, and it may be necessary to split the party. All have ■been instructed to be in readiness to sail at 48 hours’ notice.
