WEST AUSTRALIANS REJECT PROHIBITION
PERTH, This Day (Rec 11.30 a.m.) —The big majority of West Australians have demonstrated that they do not want prohibition. In a Slate-wide compulsory poll held on Saturday voters were asked: “Do you favour prohibition?”’ So far the counting reveals affirmatives and 162,231 negatives.
Counting will not be completed for several days.
