Presbyterian Sunday School Prize-Giving

The Greymouth Presbyterian Sunday School held its annual presentation of prizes and gifts yesterday morning. The Rev. H. Combes conducted the service and Mr E. C. Norrish directed the children’s choir. Mrs Pope was organist. Mr J. Daniels (superintendent of the Sunday School) addressed the congregation and referred to the loyal co-operation of the teachers. In the distribution of prizes Mr Daniels was assisted by Mrs Wise. The winner of the Agnes Mary McKenzie Memorial Medal (for attendance at class and bible knowledge) was Miss W. M. Gunn. The prize was presented by. the Rev. H. Combes. The second award (the elders’ bible) was made to Miss K. Cummings, and was presented by the Session Clerk, Mr J. A. Shannon.
