The following weather forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— Situation: An anti-cyclone over the Tasman Sea is approaching New Zealand. Forecast to midnight tomorrow: Moderate south west winds predominating, a few passing showers but weather clearing gradually and becoming fair. Outlook for Monday: Mainly fair.
