Revival Of A. And P. Show?
“I think that there is quite a lot of good stock here if the incentive were only given to show it,” remarked Mr W. Clayton (Ahaura) at a meeting of Federated Farmers (West Coast) yesterday when a remit was received from the Ngahere branch advocating a revival of an Agricultural and Pastoral Association show. The meeting decided to ask the Westland Progress League to call a meeting of all interested bodies to discuss the suggested revival of the show.
Miner Injured An employee of the Dobson State mine, Mr John O’Donnell, aged 41, married, of Cobden, was injured in an accident last evening. He was admitted to the Grey Hospital with a knee injury. His condition today was reported to be satisfactory;
