REEFTON ONE-ACT PLAYS STAGED BY THE DRAMA CLUB
REEFTON, This Day (O.C.).—The Reef ton Drama Club- staged three one-act plays at the school assembly hall on Tuesday night. . The plays were “Orange Blossom,” “Little Glass Houses,”, both by Philip Johnson and “The Rose and Crown” by J. B. Priestly. Players in “Little Glass Houses were:—Misses S. Duffy,' J. Dale, B. Lochore, V. Riley, and Mrs P. Conway. In “The Rose and Crown,” Mesdames E. Mulligan, M. Mitchell and G. Ruthven and Messrs W. Buckley. R. Honey and A. C. Reid, were the players. Colourful dressing and excellent make-up added much to- the success of all three plays. The small seating capacity of the hall was filled, to over-flowing with an appreciative audience. Although hampered by lack of stage room, and with improvised lighting, and a small hall the producers, Mrs J. Braidwood and Miss A. M. Bell, and the players, were congratulated on the very successful performance in all three productions. Evidence of long hours, of practice and of successful coaching of the principals and all players was marked. In “Orange Blossom” the players were Mesdames M. Mitchell, G. Ruthven; Misses E. Hannah, Lerna Miller, B. Lochore; Messrs F. Boot and G. Allen.
