tige, New Zealand, Ltd., for the year ended March 31 was £14,769, against £11,877 the previous year. Preference dividend takes £lBOO and ordinary 'dividend at the unchanged . rate of 10 per cent. £12,000. A slim of £5OOO is again transferred to general reserve. Carry-forward is £4750, against £9681 brought in. The amount of the ordinary dividend distribution last year was 4500, but paid up-ordinary share capital is now £120,000, against £45,000. >• Woolworths, Ltd.— Woolworths, Ltd., Sydney, is making interim payments of 5 per cent, on first preference shares and 3| per cent on se- . cond preference shares on August 15, | ex July 18.
Felt and Textiles (Aus.), Ltd.— The directors have decided to pay a halfyearly dividend on third preference shares for the half-yeqr ended July 1, at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum, payable on August 1.
