Empire Games Aftermath The report issued by the Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association about the expenses of officials at the British Empire Games is referred to in a circular letter sent to centres by the secretary of the New Zealand Association (Mr B. O’Neill). The letter was discussed in committee by the Auckland Centre last night. In his letter Mr O’Neill said that the Auckland Centre’s report was not true as to one of the officials named in it, and was true only in part as to others. After the meeting Mr W. O. Stockley, chairman of the Auckland Centre, said that it had been decided to refer Mr O’Neill’s letter to the centre’s solicitors.—(P.A.)
