Country Schools Tourney
A country schools’ basketball b tournament was held at the Grey Main School courts yesterday, two teams' Blackball A and Camerons drawing in the final with six goals each. The following are the results of the basketball tournament in which nine teams took part: Round One: Nelson Creek 4, Blackball B 3; Blackball All Kumara A 3; Camerons 8, Kumara B 9; Paroa 11, Ahaura-Totara Flat 1; Rapahoe a bye. Round Two: Blackball A 12, Nelson Creek 1, Camerons 14, Rapahoe 1. Paroa a bye. Round Three: Blackball A 9, Paroa 1; Camerons a bye. Final: Blackball 6, Camerons 6.
