Town Planning

Sir —To the uninitiated —and perhaps most of us are just that—there seem to be some peculiar aspects to town planning, so peculiar that a plan in connection with the Recreation Ground was not produced at a recent discussion. Was that, by any chance, because the. road on the plan (High street) was shown as a 66ft road, whereas in actual fact it is somewhere near 90ft? Is it not possible that a plan, as put forward by . whoever draws it up, showing all limits etc., could be seen by anyone interested. Yours etc. R. P. CHIBNALL. Greymouth, June 22.
