Flood Repair Work
Appreciation of the work of the men w’ho were called out in “atrocious” conditions to restore services destroyed and damaged in the recent floods was expressed by Cr C. R. Harker at last night’s meeting of the Greymouth Borough Council. He suggested -that the council might send letters to the departments and organisations concerned, but, after it had been pointed out that some may be overlooked in such letters, the council decided to pass a general resolution of appreciation,
