NOTABLE ARRIVALS

WELLINGTON, This Day (P.A,). —The new Chief of the Naval Staff, Commodore F. A. Balance, was among the 372 passengers on the Rangitoto which arrived from London today. There were 57 children on board, including the tenth party of children brought under the child migration scheme. Other passengers were the noted New Zealand pilot, Captain W. J. Burgess and Mr Michael Forking, a director of the National Film Unit.
