MIDLAND SUB-CENTRE
The first meeting of the Midland Sub-Centre of the West Coast Rugby League was held at Rotomanu last evening. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr J. Spillane; president, Mr D. J. Wingham; vicepresidents, Messrs K. Ryder (Inchbonnie), J. Ryan (Rotomanu), W. Larkin (Rotomanu), and A. Rathery (Inchbonnie); secretary, Mr P. Molloy; committee, Messrs Wingham, Molloy, Joseph Ryan, R. Carter, W. Ryder, J. Hardie. The committee decided to open its competition on April 23, when Rotomanu will play Inchbonnie, at Inchbonnie. _
