The Damascus correspondent of the British United Press says that a Syrian coalition Government has been formed by Khalid el Azem, thus solving the crisis caused’ by the struggle between Republicans and Unionists. The struggle catne to a
climax in the recent coup d’etat car-, ried out by a group of army officers who opposed the union of Syria ana Iraq. The President (Hashem el Atassy) resighed on Monday because his Prime Nazem el Koudsi, failed to form a Government.—London, December 28.
