AUCKLAND, This Day (P.A.).— The forecast that white pepper will be in far shorter supply in the coming months was made today by the president of the Auckland Provincial Merchants’ Association, Mr J. P. McLean. The wholesale price of the whole of White pepper landed here, excluding duty and wharf charges, has increased to about £2OOO a ton.
