MERRY LANCER HAS COMFORTABLE WIN IN WAIRIO CUP

INVERCARGILL, November 20 (P.A.). —The Wairio Jockey Club’s annual meeting was held at Invercargill in fine weather on a fast track. There was a good attendance and the totalisator handled £22,126 10s compared with £9476 10s last year when the meeting was held at Wairio.
