Teachers’ Retiring Age
AUCKLAND, This Day (P.A.).—A motion that the retiring age for women teachers be advanced >from 55 to 60 years was defeated at a meeting of the Auckland Education Board today. The majority of the members considered that the present system, whereby women teachers may continue after 5$ if they are Suitable, was a better scheme.
