The following weather forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— Situation: An anti-cyclone, is moving to the east of the North Island; a complex system of depressions is ©ver the Tasman Sea and south of New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m. tomorrow: Moderate to strong north to north-west winds; widespread .rain, but rain easing from the south early tomorrow; temperatures mild. Further outlook: Unsettled.
