WELLINGTON, This Day (P.A.).— Back from a 12,000 miles dash by R.A.F. Lancastrian to see his seriously ill mother at Dagenham, Essex, England, Leading Aircraftman F. H. Bunker today ' expressed deep appreciation of the co-operation of the British and New Zealand Air Forces which made his journey possible. The Lancastrian was in New Zealand on a training flight at the end of August when Bunker received word of his mother’s illness and arrangements were made to fly him to Britain. He returned yesterday by an R.A.F. York which arrived at Ohakea on a training flight. .
