BADMINTON ST JOHNS RETAIN BENNINGTON CUP

St John’s Badminton Club successfully defended the Bennington Cup in a challenge match with St Pauls played in the St John’s Hall at Greymouth last evening. St Johns won each oi the 12 matches, scoring 252 points as against 100 points scored by St Paul s. Two further challenges, from the Blaketown and St Columba Clubs, have been received for the cup and these matches will be played before the close of the season.
