MOSCOW “LINE”: CZECH ATHLETES AND JOURNALISTS

LONDON, September 26.—The Associated Press correspondent at Prague says that Czech athletes and journalists are getting ready to return to school. The athletes are doing so to brush up their knowledge of Marxist doctrine. The journalists are to learn the Russian language. The athletes have been told by the Government to take a four weeks’ course at a special school in political and ideological education if they wish to compete in sporting events abroad. The purpose of this course is to produce athletes who will be, “ideologically and politically mature rather than all brawn.”
