Monsoonal Downpour Floods Bombay City
BOMBAY, Sept. 22 (Rec 10.45 a.m.).—More than 26 inches of ram has fallen in Bombay in the last 32 hours. It is Bombay’s second heaviest monsoonal downpour on record. As much as 3| inches of rain fell in one 45-minute period today. Reports from the flooded districts tonight said that the rain was still pouring down.
