WANGANUI, This Day (P.A.).—How does it feel to win £10,000? Mr Roy J. Swallow and his brother-in-law, Mr . Gilbert McIntyre, both of Wanganui, joint winners oi the first prize in an overseas consultation, answered this 'question put to them this morning with broad grins. The news that their ticket had won first prize was received by both men this morning and when interviewed neither had recovered from the shock “I’m up to my eyes in work and don’t know what to think,” said Mr Swallow, who is a boot repairer. “The customer must come first, you know.”. Mr Mclntyre was found taking morning tea with his work-mates at the Wanganui gasworks, where he is employed as a stokei. I will just carry on as I am,” he said. Mr Mclntyre came to Wanganui 22 years ago from Scotland. Two small prizes had been won previously by the lucky pair, who have been taking tickets regularly for some time. Both men are married.
