PROPOSALS FOR COAST LAND DEVELOPMENT

Matters pertaining to the improvement and development of West Coast farm lands will be discussed at a general meeting of representatives .of West Coast local bodies and other interested district organisations which is to be held in Greymouth tomorrow. Several recommendations, which have been framed by a special subcommittee, set up at the inaugural meeting about six weeks ago, will be submitted for consideration. The chairman of the sub-commit-tee is Mr M. Wallace. The committee met in Greymouth on August 6 when a number of proposals for the development of farm lands on the West Coast were discussed.
