CONVENT OLD GIRLS
Seventy-five past pupils of the school attended the second annual meeting of the Convent Old Girls’ Association, which was held in St Mary’s schoolroom on Sunday last. The Rev. Father T. Farrell presided. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mrs E. L. Kehoe (reelected, unopposed); vice-presidents, Mrs M. Kelly and Mrs E. Wood (reelected) ; secretary-treasurer, Miss J. Raleigh, (re-elected unopposed); committee, Mesdames M. Clancy, D. James, M. Pfahlert, V. Messenger and R. Pollock, Misses C. Minehan, M." O’Neill, K. Greaney and A. McGinley. Bouauets of spring flowers were presented* by Mrs M. J. Fogarty to the president, Mrs Kehoe and the secretary Miss Raleigh, and a vote of thanks was passed to the officers for their valuable work during the year. Afternoon tea was served and the birthday cake was cut. Musical items were given by present pupils of the school. A pleasant re-union concluded with Benediction at the Convent Chapel, given by the Rt. Rev. Monsignor J. Long. .
