Cease Fire in Indonesia

The cease-fire agreement between the Dutch and the Indonesian Republicans was formally completed today at a meeting held under the s&ispices ci' the United Nations Indonesian Commission. According to authoritative sources, the Dutch and Republican forces in Java will be ordered on Wednesday to cease fire within one week, and the forces in Sumatra within 11 days. Simultaneously with the ceasefire order, proclamations will be issued by both sides directing and appealing to hoth sides to cease from inflammatory press and radio nropaganda. ' A joint board, including representatives of the United Nations Commission, ths Dutch, the Republicans, and the Federalists, will be constituted to ensure the observance of the cease-fire orders. —Batavia.
