OBITUARY Mrs Helen Crabb
The death has occurred at Nelson of Mrs Helen Crabb, widow of the late Thomas Crabb. Born 80 years ago m the Reefton district, Mrs Crabb was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Jonathon Auld, who were pioneer residents of the district. Mrs Crabb is survived by a daughter. Messrs J. B. Auld and W. B. Auld. Reef ton, and Mr C. Auld, Christchurch, are brothers. Mr John Pascoe The death has occurred at New Plymouth of Mr John Pascoe, aged 82 years, who was one of the early residents of Brunner and who had also lived in Greymouth for some years. In his youth he was a noted athlete, winning among other races the Brunner Sheffield handicap in the late ’eighties, when it ranked as one of the most important foot races in New Zealand. He was the oldest member of the Brunner Druids’ Lodge. .. Mr Pascoe leaves a wife, a family of two daughters, Mrs W. Anderson (BThketown) and Mrs F. Nicholson (New Plymouth), and three sons, Albert (Huntlv), George and Robert (New Plymouth). Mrs A. McDonald, of Ponsonby (Auckland) is a sister.
