N.Z. Aircrews Praised

LONDON, August 1 (Rec. 11 a.m.). —The Prime Minister, Mr Attlee sent personal messages to the Prime Ministers of New Zealand, Australia and South Africa thanking them for the part which aircrews from the three Dominions had played in the Berlin air-lift operation. Mr. Attlee’s message said that the aircrews had given “a sterling example of the spirit of co-operation which animates the Commonwealth.”
