SECRET BRITISH DEFENCE TALKS
LONDON, May 23 (Rec. 2.30 p.m.). •—Two hundred high-ranking British Army officers met behind tight security barriers today to discuss Britain’s defences. Thirteen Government departments were represented at the talks which are to last five days under the name of “Exercise Britannia.” Scientific and other experts will explain the new idea in warfare and defence.
