He wants to find a new name. Adler needs the help of the American editor H. L. Mencken, the man who has always insisted that English and American are two separate languages. A few years ago, a' strip-tease artist named Georgina Southern wanted a more delicate name for her act. Menchen invented the name “ecdysiast” from a Greek word meaning “one who loves to peef.”— London Daily Herald.
