Valuable N.Z. Stamps The Christchurch Exhibition stamps which were issued in 1906-7 have always been keenly sought.after by collectors, and the six-penny value is now becoming comparatively difficult to find. There are two varieties of the Exhibition issue, however, that are now seldom offered, the penny claret, of which only one sheet is known to have been issued, and which is catalogued at £4O, and the three-penny value with reversed watermark, which is.catalogued at £lO. A block of four’ mint stamps with the reversed watermark was offered at a Dunedin auction room last week, and after keen bidding, was sold for £3O. The catalogue value of the ordinary issue is £1 2s 6d mint, and j £1 5s used. ’
