CHANNEL TUNNEL?
(Rec. 9.35 a.m.) LONDON, April 26.
Members of Parliament from six countries, meeting in Paris, decided unanimously to press Britain and France for a re-examination of tne question of a tunnel to connect Bntain with the Continent. . Mr Michael Clark Hall, an official of the International Road Federation, who made the announcement on his return from Paris, added that realisation of the tunnel project was now “within sight” for the first time in 150 years.
