LEFT MILLIONS

(Rec. 2.10 p.m.) I LONDON, April 26. The wills of two millionaires were published today. Lord Portman, owner of large estates in London, Dorset, Lincolnshire, and Scotland, left property in the United Kingdom worth £4,493,305. Mr Arthur Guinness, vice-chair-man of Arthur Guinness and Sons, of Dublin, left £3,182,427. The Portman estate in London covers about 200 acres. The first Lord Portman bought the land about 200 years ago to graze a field of asses to provide milk for an ailing relative. Mr Guinness made bequests to many of his employees and left his widow an annuity of £20,000. His father, the first Lord Inveagh, left nearly £13,500,000.
