NATIONAL PARTY STEPS UP ACTIVITY
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 26. A caucus of Parliamentary members of the National Party has been called for May 13 to hear a report from, the Leader of the Opposition, Mr S. G. Holland, on his mission to Australia, and to discuss the Opposition’s preparations for the coming session of Parliament. Mr Holland is due to return to Wellington next Tuesday by the Monowai from Sydney. He will be met by the deputy leader of the Party, Mr Hplyo ake > who left tonight for the South Island to address a public meeting in Oamaru tomorrow night, and another in Invercargill on Thursday night. Within the next three weeks a 'team of National Party members is to undertake a concentrated speaking tour, more particularly in marginal “key” electorates on the outskirts of towns and cities. _ We is an appropriate time to inform the public of our attitude, and our views on current political problems, said Mr Holyoake today. “We f e g^ d this as a preliminary canter to the Parliamentary session and the general election campaign to follow.
