Union’s Officers Resign

The entire executive of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand i Plasterers’ and Related Trades Union lis reported to have resigned. This .comes after the decision of the Union to i withdraw a decision made in February to support the Auckland branch of the Carpenters’ Union. New officers will be elected at a special meeting. The resignations include those of the president (Mr R. Wolf) and the secretary (Mr D. Martin). — (P.A.) Extra Time Worked By working on Saturday afternoon watersiders at Auckland enabled the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-ship Kaituna, which was discharging general American cargo, to sail at 3.30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon instead of waiting in port until today. The Kaituna, which is under 1 Montreal, Australia, and New Zealand Line charter, will begin to load in Dunedin for America, and will return to Auckland as her final loading port early next month.—(P.A.)
