SWIMMING TROPHIES PRESENTED AT SOCIAL HELD BY GREYMOUTH CLUB
The Greymouth Amateur Swimming Club held its annual social and presentation of trophies at the United Pavilion recently. There was a good attendance •of members and supporters. Mr M. R. Bunt presided. The following awards were made: Bovs’ Junior Championship Shield: N; McMillan.
Girls’ Junior Championship Shield: Miss Margaret O’Donnell. * Men’s Senior Championship Cup: A. G. Richardson.
Women’s Senior Championship: Miss C. O’Donnell 1, Miss Helen Smith 2, Miss Claire Ackland 3. Winners at the West Coast championships were presented certificates as follows: —Miss H. Smith (breaststroke); K. McMillan (diving); R. Lovell (relay team).
