Defence Bills In U.S.
The House of Representatives today passed two Bills to develop United States defences. The first Bill authorises the Air Force to spend 161,000,000 dollars on a radar warning screen round the United States and Canada. The other approves the construction of a 3000-mile guided missile range at an initial cost of 75,000,000 dollars. The final cost may be 200,000,000 dollars. — Washington, March 9,
