AWARD PROVIDES 12s RISE FOR N.Z. ENGINEERS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. An extra 12s weekly, bringing their minimum wage to £8 weekly, has' berih granted tradesmen and draughtsmen in the newly-issued award for New Zealand engineers and draughtsmen. . The award does not apply to draughtsmen iri receipt of more than £550 .a year. It will be effective as from February 14. New provisions in the award are 10-minute rests each morning and afternoon arid a tool and instrument allowance of Is weekly. , ,
