‘N.Z. COULD GET ALL OVERSEAS GOODS IT WANTS'

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, This Day. “I am convinced that without restrictions New Zealanders could get all the overseas goods they want,” said Mr C. D. Ogilvie, of Christchurch, who returned by Skymaster from Vancouver today, after a 10month world visit to Britain, America, France, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium. Although delivery in some lines took time British manufacturers could supply almost anything, he said. European goods were also good value,, but these were in the hard currency area. He instanced French lace and Belgian crystal ware. Mr Ogilvie also found surprising value in German goods. Although he did some buying his trip was chiefly to inspect the supply market.
