ABBOTSFORD MURDER CASE IS OPENED AT DUNEDIN
(P.A.) DUNEDIN, This Day. The trial of John Fraser, aged 47, a brewery employee, who is charged with the murder of Alexander Sickels, aged 57, at Abbotsford, on the night of August 4, was opened in the Supreme Court before. Mr Justice Kennedy this morning. The gallery of the court was fairly full when Fraser entered the dock. He pleaded not' guilty. The Crown case was conducted by Mr. F. B. Adams, who was engaged in his opening address to the jury when the luncheon adjournment was taken. Mr F. W. Guest appeared for the accused.
