Silver Lighting And Ascot Lad Win At Ellerslie

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, October 17. The Auckland Racing Club’s spring meeting was concluded at Ellerslie yesterday. The weather was overcast with occasional light drizzle, and the track was easy. There wasa good attendance and the totalisator handled £170,124 10s, against £178,276 on the second day last year. The total for the meetin was £345,787, compared with £353,863 10s, a decrease of £8076 10s. Remaining results:—
