Auckland Harbour Bridge
Investigation of the Auckland harbour bed as a preliminary to the construction of the harbour bridge has begun. Ministry of Works engineers aer probing the harbour bottom on the proposed line of the bridge. The purpose is to ascertain accurately the surface and contours of the harbour bed and the underlying rock. —(P.A.)
