Moving Pictures of Races

With the idea of introducing a moving camera system for taking pictures of the running of races, the ■Wellington Racing Club has had two towers approximately 30 feet high erected at rhe Trentham racecourse. Other towers will probably be erected later to permit close-up photography at any stage of a race.—(P.A.) 'Promising Debut

Master Ted made a successful debut at jumping when he took the first division of the hurdle race at Paeroa. He fenced reasonably well, even if he •did get in a bit close to a couple of ■obstacles, and he has bright prospects in this branch. One factor in his success was the capable riding of C. Sargent, who appeared to help him materially in his jumping.
