PAPANEK TO STAY AT UNO DESPITE CZECH OBJECTION

(Recd. 10.30 a.m.) PARIS. Oct. 7. The United Nations_ Budgetary Committee defeated by 25 votes to six with 12 abstentions, a Czechoslovakian motion to oust Dr Jan Papanek, who is an anti-Communist, from the posts he stoll holds on two United Nations committees. Only the Soviet block voted for the Czech resolution. Dr Papanek was permanent representative of Czechoslovakia to the United Nations before the overthrow of the non-Communist Government. The new Czechoslovakian representative argued that Dr Papanek was wanted at home on embezzlement charges. ' '' ■ ■
