INJURED WOMAN TRAPPED UNDER TRAM-CAR
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Trapped under a tram-car for about a quarter of an hour in Manners street. Wellington. late yesterday afternoon, an elderly woman, Mrs H. Earle, of Taita, suffered concussion, a broken arm and lacerations to the face and arm. She was knocked over by the tram and dragged a short distance. Her head and body were caught under the bumper and a breakdown gang had to jack the tram up before she could be released. The injured woman was taken to hospital,
