DEPARTURES Thursday, October 7 Rata, s.s. (1.15 a.m.), 375 tons, Fowler, for Nelson. x Karepo, s.s. (1.45 a.m.), 1331 tons, Taylor, for Gisborne.

COASTWISE MOVEMENTS The Rata, with coal, sailed early this morning for Nelson. The Karepo, with a full cargo of timber and coal, sailed this morning for Gisborne. The Matthew Flinders, which is at present loading timber for Sydney, is expected to complete, loading and to sail about the end of next week. The Gabriella is scheduled to clear Wellington on Tuesday with general cargo for Greymouth. The Kartigi is due to leave Napier at the end of this week for Greymouth. On arrival she will load coal for Wellington. The Storm is due to arrive from Wellington today and will load coal for New Plymouth.
