Guerrillas Harassed In Eastern Macedonia
(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) ATHENS, Aug. 29. A General Staff communique claimed that the Greek Army chased out a “powerful guerrilla force” which yesterday ransacked the village of Prosotsani in Eastern Macedonia. Greek troops also captured important positions in the Kaimakchalan range, near the Jugoslav border, and dislodged guerrillas from the heights to the north-east of Kastoria in Western Macedonia.
