Greymouth Society’s Competitions Enter Third Day

The Greymouth Competitions Society annual festival entered its third day in the Wesley, Columba and St John’s halls today. The standard of work remains high and there are good attendances at all sections. Only one championship event, the Irish Jig, was held this morning and resulted in three competitors being recalled for further performances in the Wesley Hall this evening. The challenge shield for verse speaking choirs attracted only one entry, and was won by the pupils of Miss V. McDonnell (Greymouth).
